Spatial Skills and Mathematics
People who are better at imagining objects from multiple perspectives or solving puzzles are also better at mathematics. Studies in our lab investigate the underlying relation between spatial skill and mathematics, how this relation changes as children grow and develop, and whether it can be leveraged instructionally by teachers.
